About the role

  • Legal consultant specializing in public economic law and subsidy law at a firm with 40 employees. Engaging in direct client contact and diverse legal tasks in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Legal advice in municipal economic law, competition law, public procurement law and EU state aid law
  • Structuring and legal support of the financing of municipal tasks in compliance with state aid rules
  • Supporting public contracting authorities and municipal companies in the legally compliant implementation of their commercial activities
  • Handling complex issues in public economic law, in particular procurement law, EU state aid law and administrative law
  • Advising at the interface between the public sector and business — wherever companies come into contact with administration and law

Requirements

  • Successfully completed legal education
  • Interest in providing legal support and strategic advice to public companies and institutions
  • Meticulous, independent and structured approach to work
  • Understanding of economic and strategic contexts as well as project structures
  • Flexibility and enjoyment of interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Commitment and a confident manner
  • Desirable but not required: initial relevant professional experience
