Responsibilities
Support in selecting, evaluating and managing suppliers
Assist with claims handling (e.g., documenting deviations, forwarding to suppliers)
Request and compare quotes; prepare price comparisons
Place purchase orders and monitor delivery dates
Maintain purchasing and item master data in the ERP system
Support price negotiations and contract finalization
Analyze purchase prices, costs and market trends
Work closely with production, logistics and quality assurance
Support optimization of procurement processes
Contribute to supplier development and sustainability projects
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk) or a business-related degree
Initial professional experience in purchasing or a comparable role is an advantage
Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics or similar)
Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Analytical mindset, negotiation skills and strong communication abilities
Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
Team player with a strong commitment
