About the role
- Digital Workplace Engineer improving digital workplace for BAM, a leading construction company in Europe. Managing VDI environments and optimizing technology solutions for efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Beheren en onderhouden van VDI‑omgevingen zoals Azure Virtual Desktop en Windows 365;
- Maken en beheren van golden images via Infrastructure‑as‑Code (DevOps‑pipelines);
- Configureren en beveiligen van endpoints via Intune (compliance, policies, security);
- Uitrollen van devices via Autopilot en Apple ADE, inclusief applicatie‑packaging en distributie;
- Verharden van systemen met Microsoft Defender‑oplossingen en automatiseren van remediations via PowerShell en Azure Automation;
- Beheren van printmanagement‑platformen en oplossen van escalaties via ServiceNow;
- Continu verbeteren van de digitale werkplek en bijdragen aan innovatie binnen BAM.
Requirements
- Aantoonbare ervaring met VDI‑omgevingen (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365);
- Kennis van endpoint‑management, Intune en moderne deployment‑strategieën;
- Een solide basis in Microsoft 365 en Azure;
- Ervaring met scripting (PowerShell) en automatisering;
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en een samenwerkingsgerichte houding;
- Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
- Bereidheid om af en toe te reizen naar BAM‑locaties in Nederland, het VK en Ierland.
