Responsibilities
Prepare and produce substantiation reports for marine solutions throughout all design lifecycle phases.
Liaise with design teams and stakeholders to ensure coordination and functionality of system designs.
Develop innovative design solutions with robust engineering substantiation.
Provide solutions to manufacturing and installation issues by resolving technical and production queries.
Support design reviews and ensure compliance with recognised standards.
Requirements
Proven naval architecture design experience from a highly regulated industry.
Proficiency with analytical software such as Paramarine, NAPA, FORAN, Maxsurf, FEA, CFD and/or CAD.
Experience contributing to design reviews.
Ideally degree-qualified in an engineering discipline (HND/HNC with extensive experience considered).
Membership of a relevant institution (e.g., RINA, IET, IMechE, IMarEst) and Chartered or Incorporated status (or working towards).
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
