About the role

  • Payroll Administrator at Babcock processing payrolls and maintaining employee data. Supporting national security operations through accurate payroll administration and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls with accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
  • Maintain and update employee files and payroll-related data, including new starters and leavers
  • Input, check and reconcile payroll information using systems such as SAP
  • Produce and maintain weekly and monthly payroll reports
  • Complete final checks and reconciliations ahead of BACS payment runs

Requirements

  • Essential experience in payroll or strong corporate/administrative experience
  • Excellent administration skills with high-quality output
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail and data integrity
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective organisational and planning abilities
  • Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Security Clearance - The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
