Responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality engineering drawings throughout the design lifecycle in line with ISO standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production and project teams to ensure alignment and design integrity.
- Maintain design and project documentation, including updates to "as‑built" and datum packs.
- Support design reviews, resolve technical queries, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.
- Assist senior designers with estimates, continuous improvement initiatives and project support tasks.
Requirements
- Understanding of general engineering drawing practice.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- ONC / HNC / HND or BTEC National Certificate / Diploma (or equivalent), or A relevant engineering apprenticeship in mechanical or design disciplines.
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
