Responsibilities

  • Work on complex assignments that make a real difference to national security and infrastructure
  • Provide critical financial insights that shape major bids and projects across defence, aerospace, and engineering
  • Analysing financial data, budgets, and tendering models to deliver actionable insights
  • Supporting investment evaluations through robust financial modelling
  • Leveraging advanced Excel, ERP systems, and AI-driven tools for accurate reporting
  • Collaborating with business units to identify process improvements and ensure compliance
  • Contributing to the development of functional reporting tools to support strategic objectives

Requirements

  • Essential experience of the Financial Analyst
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, automation)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for data extraction and reporting
  • Ability to apply AI and machine learning tools for trend analysis and forecasting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgment
  • Expertise in interpreting multiple data sources to drive decisions
  • Degree-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
