About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of procedures for managing operational risks in the leasing business
- Execution of control and monitoring activities
- Monitoring the effectiveness of internal controls
- Further development of the internal control system
- Reporting to executive management and the group parent company, and participation in compliance committees
- Organization and execution of risk assessments
- Implementation and monitoring of group policies as well as regulatory and legal requirements
- Implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of internal policies and procedural instructions

Requirements
- Degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in a control function at a bank or financial services provider (risk or compliance department)
- Basic knowledge of the relevant supervisory law under KWG, MaRisk and/or BAIT/ZAIT
- Experience with internal control systems of a bank or financial services provider in line with MaRisk
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good written and spoken English
- Analytical, conceptual and precise thinking
