Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the Biomass Business Unit at Axpo Power AG
- Strategic leadership: optimization and expansion of the Biomass Business Unit
- Safe, economical and sustainable operation of the facilities
- Development and sale of new biomass products and services such as soil products, energy wood and transport solutions
- Participation in internal and external projects and maintenance of a strong network with relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring occupational health and safety at all facilities
Requirements
- Agricultural background or degree in agricultural, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering (FH/ETH) with an additional MBA
- Several years of experience leading teams and organizations
- Excellent expertise in the biomass sector, connection to agriculture, process understanding, technical knowledge of plant engineering and project management skills
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, entrepreneurial mindset and behavior, decisiveness, innovativeness and goal orientation
- Proven success in collaborative stakeholder management
- German, French and English are required. Italian is an advantage.
