About the role
- Senior SAP Financial Consultant managing customer projects with a focus on Finance / Controlling in SAP S/4 HANA. Developing strategies and overseeing effective project execution with clients.
Responsibilities
- In your role as Senior Consultant you take responsibility for our exciting client projects with a focus on Finance / Controlling in the S/4HANA area (Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private)
- You further develop new technologies in the Finance / Controlling area for our clients (Cloud ERP, Fiori, Central Finance)
- You support clients in the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including the migration of FI/CO data and processes
- You are central to the projects, accompanying the entire cycle from developing an S/4HANA roadmap through implementation projects (planning and design up to testing and go-live)
- You are responsible for the effective, on-time and on-budget execution of projects following the SAP Activate project methodology
- Independent working and taking ownership for the success of our client projects come naturally to you
- You develop a joint Finance and Controlling strategy by understanding our clients’ needs and applying your SAP know-how
- Together with our clients you develop and document process and system solution concepts
Requirements
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field – vocational IT training or relevant professional experience are also welcome
- You bring several years of experience in Finance / Controlling and related modules; knowledge of Customizing is desirable
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Cloud ERP / Cloud ERP Private projects as well as pre-projects (e.g., Fit-Gap workshops)
- You are highly familiar with business processes in accounting and controlling
- You work independently, are goal-oriented and hands-on, and think analytically, conceptually and creatively
- You demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills, team spirit, assertiveness and an entrepreneurial mindset
- You are service-oriented, have very good German and English language skills and are willing to travel
