About the role

  • Head of Account Management overseeing a team at Axians, a digital transformation leader. Responsible for strategic planning and client relationship management in IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Line management of four employees in Account Management
  • Coaching, performance evaluation, staff development and HR reporting
  • Regular coordination with business lines and competence centers to continuously further develop the service offering
  • Strategic account planning and development of the team's customers
  • Responsible for recruiting, selection and structured onboarding of new employees
  • Establishing, maintaining and improving processes, structures and guidelines
  • Design and implementation of advisory models and consulting formats (Trusted Advisor)
  • Ensuring sustainable knowledge and competency management
  • Compliance with the normative requirements of Axians Somnitec AG
  • Direct management of a strategic existing customer portfolio as the primary point of contact
  • Budget responsibility and revenue planning for own customers
  • Ensuring and measuring customer satisfaction
  • Conducting regular account and steering committee meetings

Requirements

  • Several years of senior-level leadership experience in account management
  • Completed HF (higher vocational) or FH (University of Applied Sciences) education in business administration or a comparable background
  • Know-how in strategic account planning and customer development
  • Experience in budget planning and revenue responsibility
  • Leadership experience including recruitment, coaching and development of employees
  • Experience in designing advisory and consulting formats (Trusted Advisor)
  • Strong quality-, process- and structure-oriented mindset
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
