About the role

  • Chartered Financial Planner delivering high calibre tax and Lifestyle Financial Planning services. Building strong relationships and maximising business opportunities for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances and future aims, aligning with Lifestyle Financial Planning principles.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance procedures to safeguard the company by meeting all regulatory aspects of the role.
  • Develop your product, technical and regulatory knowledge to stay up to date with the latest financial regulations.
  • Actively seek opportunities for client growth through referrals and self-generation.
  • Adhere to AML requirements and deliver suitability reports within prescribed timescales.
  • Follow through with clients and providers to ensure business is completed in a timely manner.
  • Escalate any breaches or concerns to a Regional Director or Compliance team member promptly.
  • Maintain a high standard of file quality.
  • Maintain continuous professional development records and comprehensive knowledge of pensions, investments, and estate planning.

Requirements

  • Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII
  • Proven track record of providing high levels of service and advice
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods
  • Professional, ethical and discreet
  • Ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Chartered Fellow status with the CII (desirable)
  • Pension Transfer Specialist (desirable)
  • Educated to Degree level (desirable)
  • Experience of Intelliflo (desirable).
