About the role

  • Manager leading field services for AT&T's wireless network performance team. Overseeing service delivery and operational management of complex network solutions in multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee service delivery and solutions including Ethernet, 911 applications, client network integrations, network security, managed services, fiber and copper transport, broadband aggregation services, 5G & cellular solutions, AT&T Digital Network and fixed wireless.
  • Manage network maintenance and operations, resolve complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement network changes from the central office to customer premises.
  • Coordinate with peers in various departments to enhance customer experience, drive revenue growth, create operational efficiencies, and innovate processes tailored to local markets.
  • Provide strategic direction, ensure execution, manage contractors and vendors, and lead network restoration efforts following natural disasters, while overseeing a large multi-state organization and supervising managers and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental laws, manage financial and operational targets, and work with Labor Relations to meet labor contract obligations and maintain a harmonious union relationship.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ related experience.
  • Work a 24x7x365 schedule with the options for cross coverage relief.
  • Working experience with a bargaining unit
  • Bachelor’s (BS/BA) degree preferred
  • This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function.
