About the role

  • UX Designer II focused on user-centric designs and research at AtkinsRéalis. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance digital product experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitor analysis.
  • Translate research insights into experience maps, personas, and journey maps.
  • Understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints to shape design strategy.
  • Create wireframes, low/high‑fidelity prototypes, user flows, and interaction models.
  • Develop pixel‑perfect UI designs aligned with brand and accessibility guidelines.
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems and component libraries.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Product Managers, Developers, QA, Marketing).
  • Present design concepts, rationales, and prototypes to stakeholders.
  • Deliver production‑ready design assets using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects optional).
  • Ensure designs meet usability standards and accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.
  • Support developers during implementation and perform design QA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on UX/UI design experience in digital products (web & mobile).
  • Expert‑level proficiency in Figma; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of user‑centered design, design thinking, and UX research methods.
  • Ability to create visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive interfaces.
  • Experience with prototyping, user testing, and iterative design.
  • Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and modern UI patterns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing real‑world UX projects, processes, and outcomes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of front‑end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with motion design or micro‑interaction tools (Lottie, After Effects).
  • Experience designing enterprise or SaaS products.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and passion for creating user‑friendly experiences.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
