About the role

  • User Experience Designer responsible for crafting user interfaces for Allstate's digital products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centered design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Produce user-centered designs that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Plan and conduct qualitative user research
  • Apply human-centered design methods and tools to analyze ambiguous problems
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools
  • Collaborate independently with developers and cross-functional teams
  • Present design recommendations, research findings, and rationale to stakeholders
  • Use foundational knowledge of front-end technologies to understand engineering constraints
  • Contribute to team process improvements and advocate for UX best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer or a related role
  • Proven experience conducting qualitative user research (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations)
  • Strong proficiency with the design tool Figma
  • Familiarity with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience presenting design and research decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as working in cross-functional teams
