Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of secure government projects
- Report to the Project Director
- Deliver as the main point of contact for the client managing end-to-end project delivery
- Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, Quality Plan, and Risk Register
- Monitor and control project performance against schedule, cost, and quality baselines
- Manage suppliers and ensure all commercial and contractual obligations are met
- Define project organisation and roles; build high-performing psychologically safe teams
- Pursue opportunities for contract extensions and support business development
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in project management
- Experience within secure government, MOD or Critical National Infrastructure markets (desirable)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability
- Understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and government security processes
- Familiarity with project management tools and systems (e.g., EcoSys)
- PM accreditation aligned to project risk categorisation and security requirements
- Results-focused with the drive to keep on learning
