About the role

  • Supply Chain Purchasing Analyst coordinating order routing and logistics execution across North America and Europe. Managing carrier operations, transportation systems, and product catalog responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Global Order Routing & Logistics Execution
  • Manage internal order routing and shipment execution across global regions including North America and Europe
  • Coordinate with logistics carriers to schedule shipments, confirm bookings, and ensure timely pickup and delivery
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively troubleshoot operational issues to minimize delays or disruptions
  • Investigate shipment exceptions and coordinate resolution with carriers and internal stakeholders
  • Transportation & Logistics Systems Operations
  • Support operational workflows across enterprise logistics platforms including transportation management systems and order management systems
  • Maintain data accuracy and operational workflows across supply chain reporting tools and logistics planning platforms
  • Troubleshoot system-related operational issues and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve workflow gaps
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements as transportation and order management systems evolve
  • Product Catalog & SKU Management
  • Maintain product SKU data within enterprise product catalog or product information management (PIM) systems
  • Support SKU activation, pricing configuration, and catalog readiness for product launches
  • Ensure product data accuracy to support operational order execution and fulfillment processes
  • Manage ongoing catalog governance as product portfolios expand
  • Carrier Operations & Shipment Issue Resolution
  • Coordinate directly with logistics carriers to manage shipment bookings and operational exceptions
  • Investigate shipment issues including delays, shortages, or damages
  • Manage carrier claims processes and coordinate resolution with internal teams
  • Support special shipping requirements such as dangerous goods handling or shipment disposition requests
  • Cross-Border Logistics & Compliance Support
  • Support international shipments requiring customs clearance or trade compliance considerations
  • Coordinate cross-border logistics processes and documentation requirements
  • Ensure operational processes align with internal compliance and legal guidelines
  • Forecasting & Warehouse Capacity Coordination
  • Support operational forecasting and warehouse capacity planning using supply chain planning tools
  • Coordinate with warehouse and planning teams to ensure fulfillment readiness for projected order volumes
  • Assist with operational readiness for new product launches or increased order demand
  • Operational Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and logistics processes
  • Partner with supply planning, engineering, and operations teams to enhance systems and operational procedures
  • Support operational scalability as logistics systems and product portfolios expand
  • Operational Continuity & Knowledge Transfer
  • Train and onboard new team members on operational processes and systems
  • Provide cross-functional coverage across operational responsibilities as needed
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives to maintain operational continuity
  • Systems & Platforms Experience working with enterprise supply chain and logistics platforms

Requirements

  • Experience supporting logistics operations, supply chain operations, or transportation management environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise transportation management or order management systems
  • Experience working with operational data, reporting tools, or supply chain analytics platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and logistics partners
  • Ability to manage multiple operational workflows in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with enterprise logistics platforms such as Oracle Transportation Management, SAP Transportation Management, or Blue Yonder (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting product catalog management or SKU lifecycle processes (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with global logistics operations and cross-border shipping workflows (Preferred)
  • Experience managing carrier operations, shipment investigations, or claims processes (Preferred)
