Payroll Coordinator managing payroll operations in the US and Canada for ASSA ABLOY, an industry leader in automated door solutions. Supports payroll reporting and employee inquiries.
Responsibilities
Lead processor for one of the Canada payroll/benefits and biweekly/monthly reporting
Assist with the US payroll entry, timecard review and reporting
Process certified and prevailing wage reports
Respond to separation requests, employment and/or benefit verifications, garnishments and other mail
Crosstrain within the department to provide backup coverage
Provide customer service to employees regarding time and attendance, benefits and payroll questions
Other general HR/PR functions as needed.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration
2–4 years of experience in payroll and benefits management
Detail oriented
Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential information
Strong time management and prioritizing skills
Good customer service skills
Strong PC knowledge including Excel
Working knowledge of ADP and Payworks desired but not required
Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.
