Responsibilities
Lead the planning strategy and execution of our store’s day-to-day operations across key departments
Ensure availability is maximised, waste and shrink are minimised, and the Superstore runs efficiently, safely, and fully compliant
Work closely with Operations Manager and department managers to deliver consistent standards
Drive productivity and ensure the store is always ready for customers
Improve delivery flow, stock routines, and compliance
Create a valued and motivated environment for the team by recognising effort, attitude, and growth
Promote collaboration between departments to ensure operational excellence and a seamless customer experience
Use insight to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements
Requirements
Experience as General Store Manager or Operations Manager leading diverse teams in a large-format retail environment
Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments with a track record of achieving consistent operational excellence
A track record of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink
Proven record of developing large teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience
Experience managing complex ER cases and confidence in understanding HR policies and processes
Strong organisational skills and exceeding customer service.
