Responsibilities
- Lead the planning strategy and execution of our store’s day-to-day operations across key departments
- Ensure availability is maximised, waste and shrink are minimised, and the Superstore runs efficiently, safely, and fully compliant
- Work closely with Operations Manager and department managers to deliver consistent standards
- Drive productivity and ensure the store is always ready for customers
- Improve delivery flow, stock routines, and compliance
- Create a valued and motivated environment for the team by recognising effort, attitude, and growth
- Promote collaboration between departments to ensure operational excellence and a seamless customer experience
- Use insight to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements
Requirements
- Experience as General Store Manager or Operations Manager leading diverse teams in a large-format retail environment
- Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments with a track record of achieving consistent operational excellence
- A track record of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink
- Proven record of developing large teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience
- Experience managing complex ER cases and confidence in understanding HR policies and processes
- Strong organisational skills and exceeding customer service.
