About the role
- UX Designer responsible for creating exceptional web/mobile experiences for PredictIt's trading platform. Transforming challenges into intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences in a startup-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Create exceptional user experiences across our platform creating innovative web/mobile experiences.
- Working on the UX design of a project on the order of Coinbase/FanDuel/DraftKings/Crypto.com.
- Transform complex challenges into intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences.
- Create high fidelity mockups and design guides for developers in Figma.
- Drive the UX design process including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Create user flows, journey maps, and information architecture diagrams.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and effectively communicate design rationale.
- Own the design system, be responsible for the content, controls, and processes behind it.
- Assist in UX refinement by reviewing UX related changes in both staging and production environments.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Figma designing UX elements for Web and Mobile.
- Understanding of graphic design and UX design principles and the software development lifecycle.
- Responsive design in Figma expertise. Your Figma designs should look right when scaled.
- Strong organizational skills, design aesthetic and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and initiative on a day-to-day basis and to initiate and successfully manage creating UX/Design assets for the team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well on technical subjects in both written and verbal form. Including coordinating with developers to assure they can successfully execute a design.
