About the role

  • Data Scientist in Data Management conceptualizing and planning AI functions at ArianeGroup. Collaborating with experts to enhance strategic efficiency in aerospace technology.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, planning, and implementing the AI function for assigned use cases in the Data & AI domain at ArianeGroup
  • Collaborating with various internal and external AI experts on initiatives
  • Advising the company's business units on the optimal use of AI technologies
  • Participating in the development and implementation of the AI and data analytics strategy for use cases
  • Selecting and/or developing relevant AI models for each identified use case
  • Monitoring and regularly assessing the impact and performance of implemented solutions
  • Supporting the preparation of technical proposals related to AI and data science projects

Requirements

  • PhD or engineering degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Senior Consultant or Engineer in AI and Data Science
  • Knowledge of core concepts and common tools in Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI
  • Good knowledge of popular open-source frameworks such as TensorFlow, LangChain, Vanna.ai, Dataiku, and LLM models
  • Entrepreneurial mindset focused on delivering rapid, tangible results
  • Team player with the ability to propose consensus-based solutions within a distributed German-French organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluent in English and German; French language skills are a plus.
