Responsibilities
Lead design efforts, mentor young engineers, and successfully execute projects
Provide leadership, technical knowledge, and experience to develop design team capabilities
Manage project tasks in planning, design, permitting, and construction of wastewater facilities
Prepare detailed engineering calculations and analysis
Lead condition assessment evaluations for water/wastewater system assets
Develop and meet scope, delivery schedules, and project budgets
Strengthen client relationships through professionalism and technical expertise
Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior engineers
Ensure project compliance with practices and quality standards
Some travel may be required for project meetings and site visits
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical design
Experience leading design projects and managing multi-disciplinary design teams
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months of hire
