Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical components, parts, and large-scale assemblies (250+ parts).
- Develop solutions, build prototypes, and perform product validation and design verification testing.
- Apply engineering best practices across sheet metal fabrication, vacuum forming, injection molding, and machining processes.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation including parts and assembly drawings, bills of materials, and engineering change orders.
- Ensure strong ECM control and adherence to product lifecycle management processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define project deliverables and schedules.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5–8 years of engineering experience, including work with large, complex assemblies (250+ parts).
- Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams and third-party vendors.
- Engineering design project management experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in product design and 3D modeling applications.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Advanced knowledge of ECM control and product lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
