Responsibilities
leading and supporting the development of resiliency projects focused on urban drainage systems, streams, and rivers.
devising and implementing both structural and non-structural mitigation solutions.
integrating green and gray infrastructure approaches to enhance stormwater management and flood resilience.
managing the planning, design, and construction administration phases of projects.
ensuring full compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, rules, and regulations.
providing technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projects acting as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor.
supervising and supporting the work of others offering mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
direct client engagement to identify needs, deliver tailored solutions, and lead the growth of client relationships.
playing a key role in the marketing and proposal phases of projects.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, or related.
P.E. license or ability to acquire P.E. licensure in Texas within 6 months.
12+ years’ experience (preferred).
Active involvement in local professional organizations, stormwater committees, or green infrastructure groups (preferred).
Responsible Charge (Engineer of Record) or Project Management experience on stormwater projects of various sizes (preferred).
