Supporting and potentially leading energy and water efficiency improvements
Developing renewable energy and storage opportunities
Working on and collaborating with teams on Ameresco-led projects
Identifying and evaluating energy and water conservation opportunities
Preparing energy savings calculations
Developing baseline profiles
Providing retrofit analyses
Preparing preliminary design (30%) of proposed energy improvements
Collaborating with local contractors for budgetary pricing
Coordinating design and development activities
Preparing engineering design and bid documents
Preparing cost estimates, drawings, and specifications
Preparing and populating internal financial models
Developing Measurement and Verification plans for projects
Providing engineering guidance throughout development and operations
Executing project implementation that meets or exceeds objectives
Complying with safety standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Mechanical engineering
Minimum of five (5) years' experience acting in an energy or project development engineering role
Experience with site auditing
Utility data analysis
