About the role
- Senior Roadway Design Engineer leading infrastructure design projects for Arcadis, improving quality of life through sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- lead and direct the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways
- perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects including technical design, production lead, task leader, and assisting Project Manager
- participate in a client facing role, making presentations and managing client expectations
- develop project scopes and budgets, interface with and maintain client needs for the Project Manager
- mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters
- develop project plans and maintain project schedules ensuring project compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer
- 10 or more years’ relevant engineering experience including supervision of elements of large, complex projects
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Engineering experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering
- Proficiency with CAD particularly Civil3D, Microstation and experience with OpenRoads software
- Familiarity with ODOT design standards and policies
- Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously
