Responsibilities
- Managing small to medium-scale projects or programs, ensuring resources are effectively utilized, and deadlines are met.
- Overseeing project scopes, budgets, and workloads while providing guidance to junior staff and ensuring quality assurance processes are in place.
- Proactively identifying and presenting risks to senior management.
- Collaborating across teams to foster successful project delivery.
- Providing recommendations to improve processes and systems.
- Mentoring junior staff and supporting their development.
Requirements
- Must have a BSc Eng, Diploma in PM, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- At least 8 years of construction experience in consultancy or contracting.
- Working towards a Project Management, Program Management, or similar professional accreditation.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ideally proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Advanced proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera 6).
- Experience with program analysis tools (e.g., XER Toolkit, Acumen Fuse) and 4D BIM tools (e.g., Synchro Pro, Navisworks).
- Can build master programs from scratch, including logic links, resource, and cost loading.
- Able to monitor project progress, mitigate delays, and perform forensic delay analysis.
- Experienced across RIBA Stages of Work and preparing Design and Construction Programs.
