About the role

  • Senior Transportation Planner/Engineer leading municipal roads and transportation projects in Western Canada, providing oversight and mentorship to teams involved in developing sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead municipal transportation projects and consultation programs
  • Guide the development of municipal plans and oversee preliminary design projects
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight on multidisciplinary projects
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Registered Professional Planner (RPP), Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or equivalent certification
  • 15+ years of relevant planning or engineering experience
  • Recognized expert in transportation planning or engineering
  • Proven project success on medium-sized projects
  • Strategic problem-solving skills and advanced technical knowledge
  • Strong professional consulting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
