About the role

  • Chambres attendant preparing and cooking food at Aramark's Fire Lake camp. Responsible for food preparation, menu planning, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.

Responsibilities

  • Cook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Prepare the daily menu
  • Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, and colleagues
  • Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction
  • Clean and maintain your workstation
  • Be able to respond to operational needs
  • Perform any other related duties as required

Requirements

  • DEP in Culinary Arts preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong culinary foundation is an asset
  • Experience working in remote camps is an asset
  • MAPAQ certification
  • Be able to respond to operational needs
  • Ensure that hygiene and food safety programs are followed
  • Adhere to established safety regulations
