About the role
- Ingenieur Structures Offshore for designing subsea structures in deepwater environments with project teams collaboration and engineering interactions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and sizing of subsea structures (FLET, manifolds, suction piles, large mudmats…)
- Perform finite element analyses and calculations using ABAQUS
- Work closely with design drafters / design engineers
- Propose technical solutions and optimizations to the lead engineer / project manager
- Contribute to design reviews, technical meetings and cross-discipline coordination
Requirements
- Degree in structural or mechanical engineering, with experience ideally gained in offshore subsea
- Significant practical experience on subsea structure projects (FLET, manifolds, suction piles, mudmats or similar structures)
- Autonomous in the execution of design and structural analysis
- Experienced in collaborating with design drafters / design engineers
- Proficient with analysis tools: proven use of ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid modeling); knowledge of SACS (beam modeling) is a plus
- Fluent English, written and spoken, required for documentation and international communication; French is an asset for day-to-day team interactions
