About the role

• Senior Full-Stack Developer responsible for optimizing global e-commerce websites at Apply Digital. Collaborating with teams in a hybrid setup to ensure technical delivery within Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of Complex Features - When necessary, take ownership of delivering the most challenging and high-stakes parts of the codebase.
• Architectural Design and System Planning - Collaborating with the Technical lead, help design and implement scalable solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Mentorship and Code Reviews - We expect you to 'elevate' the team by conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality and by providing constructive feedback to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• DevOps and Deployment Pipelines - Be able to oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that code is automatically tested, built and deployed to production environments.
• API Design and Integration - Experience in defining how the frontend and backend talk to each other. Be able to design robust, well-documented APIs and handle integrations with third-party services.
• Security - Ensuring the application is secure from the ground up is a primary responsibility. This responsibility includes implementing proper authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), understanding how to mitigate common vulnerabilities and adhering to our Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - You may need to act as a bridge between Technical and non-technical stakeholders. Clear communication and collaboration are a must.
• Story breakdown: take an active role in backlog grooming, story breakdown, definition, and estimation. Look for what's 'not' in the requirements and define alternatives that product managers may overlook.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack or Front-End Developer within a digital agency, e-commerce, or SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js and TypeScript (ES6+), including testing, debugging and performance tuning.
• Understanding usage, productivity gains and limitations of AI tooling in the development workflow.
• Experience with BigCommerce, CommerceTools or other MACH/Composable vendors.
• Strong front-end experience using React (Next.js) or Vue (Nuxt.js), plus styling languages such as CSS or Sass and frameworks like Tailwind.
• Practical experience integrating headless CMSs (e.g., Contentful, Contentstack) and third-party APIs (Loyalty, Payments, Analytics, Identity).
• Strong skills with at least one cloud vendor (AWS preferred, GCP or Azure) and modern devops practices (CI/CD, shift-left, automation, etc.)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL queries and mutations.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the ability to work effectively with remote, multicultural teams.
