About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for leading CI/CD pipeline design and optimization. Collaborating with teams to drive DevOps maturity across the enterprise while managing infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure software delivery.
- Lead DevOps strategy and advocate for continuous improvement and automation.
- Manage build and deployment processes across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
- Implement and maintain change management workflows and source control practices.
- Partner with architects to embed operational excellence into system design.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead internal DevOps communities of practice.
- Define and track key DevOps metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR).
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, including CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Terraform, Azure yaml pipelines, and PowerShell.
- Bash experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic Knowledge of coding languages including C#, HTML, and JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of programming practices and procedures
- Basic knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and operating systems (Windows)
- Working knowledge of IIS
