About the role
- Junior Sales Application Engineer at Angst+Pfister supporting customer acquisition. Analyzing customer needs and managing technical solution designs in the Italian market.
Responsibilities
- Support acquisition of new customers and projects in core target industries by analyzing customer needs
- Assist in preparing customer visits, follow-ups, and building your own professional network
- Manage the sales funnel: from initial contact, RFQ handling, preparation, order confirmation, serial delivery
- Verify and document customer specifications and technological requirements
- Assist in designing tailor-made solutions that match customer needs
- Support internal teams by providing technical clarifications, cost-structure insights, and offer analysis
- Liaise and align with central/shared functions across the Assiwell Business Unit and Group organization
Requirements
- Engineering or technical degree (engineering, materials, manufacturing, mechanical, or related)
- 1–3 years of early-career experience in an industrial field
- Initial exposure to project work or customer-facing technical tasks
- Interest in metal / stainless-steel manufacturing processes
- Comfortable working in international and cross-functional environments
- Driving license and willingness to conduct weekly customer visits
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Service- and customer-oriented mindset
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian.
