About the role

  • CDL Program Director providing leadership and managing faculty for the CDL Program. Engaging in curriculum development and student support activities in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing leadership for the CDL Program.
  • Participates in curriculum development, revision, and implementation process.
  • Actively engages with potential students and participates in new student orientation.
  • Analyzes student population data and monitors student progress.
  • Conducts regular meetings with faculty and Driver Trainers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Industry certification in the field of instruction if required by industry, or demonstrated knowledge equivalent to the certification.
  • 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
  • 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
  • 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver /Driver Trainer.
  • Knowledge regarding faculty development, including requirements, delivery methods, and reporting.
  • Motivation, dedication, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and database programs (CampusVue preferred).
