About the role

  • Senior Digital Product Manager leading strategy and execution of web and mobile digital products for American Family. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer and agent experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the digital flows on mobile and web platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch innovative digital solutions that enhance the experience for agents and customers.
  • Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identifies objectives and key results and analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to recognize key pain points and opportunities to address
  • Creates a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion.
  • Manage a team of product owners to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital product management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital product management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing mobile and web product development.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for delivering impactful digital experiences.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in own and related initiatives, line of business, and broader stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in digital/technology products and iterative product lifecycles that solve business problems and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Demonstrated experience deriving key insights and patterns from customer interviews and using that input to clarify problem statements
  • Demonstrated expertise navigating matrixed organizations and teams with proven success in leveraging the right people and resources at the right time for consistent and dependable delivery.
