About the role

  • Graduate Project Manager role at Amey entails delivering Rail projects in Engineering. Support project planning, communication, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective delivery of Rail projects within the Engineering business stream.
  • Support Project Managers/Directors to identify and plan the resources required for a project(s).
  • Communicate with project disciplines, to gain progress updates against deliverables, spend, and programme for a project(s).
  • Produce reports monitoring the spend to date/in-month relating to project(s), against forecast.
  • Produce reports to monitor the completion of activities towards a project programme, understand the narrative behind any delays/advancements.
  • Undertake numerical analysis and calculations to support the development of project/bid prices and project monitoring.
  • Production and maintenance of project documentation (including Integrated project plans, risk registers, key performance metrics, early warnings, lessons learnt and project case studies).
  • Support in running project meetings internally and with Clients.

Requirements

  • Project Management Degree at Grade 2:1 or above
  • A Full UK driving License
