About the role

• Senior Engineer leading design and implementation of network connectivity solutions for various venues in American Tower's U.S. division. Undertaking complex project scopes with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical implementation of connectivity solutions for complex project scopes in various venues.
• Ensure completed networks meet or exceed technical and customer requirements.
• Handle multiple projects and play a vital technical role for successfully accomplishing project milestones.
• Partner cross-functionally to develop and deploy designs that meet or exceed technical stated key performance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and more than 8 years of relevant experience required.
• iBWave Level 2 certification or 3 years of hands-on iBWave experience required.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible RF engineering experience, at least 4 of which directly involved Inbuilding network solutions and designs as a primary job responsibility preferred.
• Knowledge of IP network design, planning, configuration, integration, testing, and security required. CCNA certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with a proven capability to work well independently and with others to solve problems.
• Approximately 50% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
• While performing the role you may need to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
• Able to cultivate a collaborative a team dynamic that enables the organization to meet stated business objectives.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
