About the role

  • Senior Associate Director managing conference services for Alzheimer’s Association. Overseeing logistics for multiple meetings and coordinating with various stakeholders in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support RFP development and venue research
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings of 10-1,000 attendees
  • Assist with contract review and room block management
  • Prepare meeting specifications for assigned programs
  • Reconcile meeting invoices and ensure timely payment processing
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for smooth execution of meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in meeting or conference planning
  • CMP and DES preferred (or ability to obtain within 2 years)
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workplace
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to respond to requests quickly to resolve problems
