About the role

  • Lead IT Application & Service Manager managing SAP applications and a growing team. Ensure efficient operations and drive cloud transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and further develop the IT Applications and Service Management team.
  • Coach, develop and expand the team over time.
  • Responsible for the operational management of the primary IT service provider (including Service Desk, End User Services, Managed Cloud, Network, Application Management).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive SAP roadmap.
  • Ensure the application landscape effectively supports the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage the migration of SAP S/4HANA, BW and SAC to the cloud.
  • Establish and optimize ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release) in Jira/Confluence.
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g. MTTR, SLA compliance, license utilization) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Budget planning and controlling for operations, development and service contracts.
  • Manage standard, minor and emergency changes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration with IT focus, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in Application Management with a focus on SAP operations and cloud transformation.
  • Experience in leading teams or project responsibility with demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Solid ITIL knowledge and practical experience with Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience in budget and cost controlling for IT projects and services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
  • Structured, self-driven working style with a hands-on mentality.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
