About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical reference in the sales process, supporting the expansion and retention of the customer base.
  • Conduct in-depth technical discovery processes, identifying pain points, operational challenges and clients' specific needs.
  • Translate business requirements into viable solution architectures, using standard and/or customized solutions from ALTAVE's portfolio.
  • Design technical solutions considering hardware, software, integrations and services.
  • Develop comprehensive technical proposals, ensuring clarity, alignment with client needs and technical feasibility.
  • Structure and validate solution pricing, including cost, effort and risk estimates.
  • Participate in and lead technical meetings with clients, ensuring alignment of expectations.
  • Continuously interact with internal Software Engineering, Hardware, Product and Operations teams.
  • Perform on-site technical visits, assessing client assets and facilities and preparing detailed technical reports.
  • Analyze and consolidate technical requirements from technical specifications (ETs) and RFPs.
  • Provide technical support across all stages of the sales funnel, from qualification to contract formalization.
  • Contribute to the standardization of proposals, architectures and the team's technical best practices.
  • Generate technical and market insights to drive the evolution of ALTAVE's solutions portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in **Engineering**.
  • Previous experience as a **Pre-Sales Engineer** or an equivalent technical role supporting the commercial team.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end pre-sales processes, from discovery to contract finalization.
  • Experience defining complex architectures involving multiple systems, integrations and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in complex **B2B** environments, including technical negotiations with strategic clients.
  • Strong ability to conduct technical discovery, prepare proposals and structure high-value solutions.
  • Experience in solution pricing, with an understanding of costs, margins and technical risks.
  • Availability for on-site technical visits.
  • **Advanced English**, fluent for technical meetings and documentation.
