About the role

  • Public Relations Trainee supporting the organization of events for CANAL+. Assisting in logistics and communication materials creation to ensure successful event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of event operations (premieres, soirées, press conferences, dinners, General Assembly, etc.)
  • Research venues, coordinate talent attendance, handle event logistics, create all communication materials related to events, manage invitations, etc.
  • Source all iconographic materials (images, logos…), videos (trailers, spots…) and editorial content needed to produce communication materials for each event
  • Develop all creative assets, adaptations and variants required for successful event setup (invitations, photocall/step-and-repeat, on-site signage, etc.)
  • Support logistics for CANAL+’s presence at various festivals, markets and partner events (the César Awards, Canneseries Festival, Sunny Side, etc.)
  • Maintain the contact network and monitor trends

Requirements

  • Passionate about media, particularly films and series; a rigorous, highly organized student with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of computer tools and desktop publishing (DTP) software; ability to anticipate and adapt.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities; sense of confidentiality.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (constantly used for guest list management).
  • Excellent mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite for creating all event-related communication materials.
  • Good judgment and situational awareness, rigor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity.
  • Good level of English.
