The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of initiatives within Allucent’s Data and Development portfolio.
This role will manage projects supporting the Data & Analytics initiatives, AI platform expansion, and enhancements to internally developed applications, ensuring that all efforts are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
The Project Manager will work closely with IT, Data & Analytics, and Business stakeholders to manage project lifecycles, mitigate risks, and ensure effective communication across cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong organizational, technical, and leadership skills with experience managing technology and data-focused projects.
Requirements
**Project Leadership**
· Lead the planning and execution of projects supporting the Data & Analytics, AI platform initiatives, and internal application development.
· Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource plans in partnership with business and technical leads.
· Coordinate activities across global teams to ensure alignment between business requirements, data engineering, and software development.
· Identify, track, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
· Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications to maintain transparency and accountability.
**Governance & Delivery**
· Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through post-implementation review, ensuring adherence to established governance and quality standards.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, plans, issue logs, and change control records.
· Partner with Business Analysts and technical teams to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined, validated, and implemented as designed.
· Support vendor management activities and oversee the transition of vendor-supported systems to internal ownership.
· Ensure all deliverables comply with GxP, data privacy, and IT security requirements.
**Communication & Reporting**
· Provide timely and concise project reporting to IT and business leadership, highlighting progress, milestones, risks, and resource utilization.
· Promote effective communication across diverse teams, encouraging collaboration and accountability.
· Support post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
· Review, improve and evaluate IT processes and procedures within the Quality Management System.
· Contribute to other areas of business as required.
· No major travel required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
· 5–8 years of experience managing IT or software development projects, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or data-centric environments.
· Proven success delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Experience with data integration, analytics, or AI/ML projects is highly preferred.
· Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
· Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master) is a plus.
· Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational abilities, effectively managing multiple concurrent projects with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
· Communicates complex technical and business topics clearly, fostering transparency and alignment across global teams and leadership stakeholders.
· Understands project dependencies involving data integration, analytics, and AI solutions, and effectively coordinates between technical and business teams.
· Applies structured project management practices while remaining adaptable to changing business needs and emerging technologies.
· Proactively identifies risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and develops effective mitigation and escalation strategies.
· Promotes a culture of collaboration, accountability, and quality, ensuring all project outcomes align with data integrity, compliance, and organizational goals.
