About the role

  • The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in advancing Allucent’s Data and Development initiatives.
  • Focus on gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications that support data integration.
  • Collaborate with global business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, and AI specialists.
  • Ensure solutions meet business objectives and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain clear and traceable documentation, including business process maps and data flow diagrams.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, translating complex technical and AI concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Support testing, validation, and user acceptance for system enhancements and new features.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and system demos to ensure clear communication between business and development teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a life sciences, CRO, or technology organization.
  • Experience supporting data analytics or AI-related initiatives preferred (e.g., requirements for predictive models, natural language processing, or automation workflows).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Exposure to APIs, data pipelines, and reporting/analytics tools is a plus.
  • Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Communicates effectively across technical and business teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
  • Understands data and AI concepts, including automation, predictive analytics, and how these technologies can enhance business processes.
  • Produces thorough and accurate documentation, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Adapts quickly to shifting priorities and works effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
  • Maintains a strong commitment to data integrity, compliance, and delivering high-quality outcomes that support business objectives.
