Hybrid General Accountant, Finance Systems & Transformation Specialist

About the role
- General Accountant responsible for managing and improving finance systems and coordinating transformation projects. Works with internal teams and external providers to ensure data quality, controls and process automation.
Responsibilities
- Financial Systems Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure proper configuration, consistency, and updating of all financial information systems (ERP, accounting modules, reporting tools).
- Support the functional evolution of existing tools, propose optimizations, and manage their implementation.
- Actively participate in the deployment of a treasury management tool (configuration, testing, integration, training).
- Contribute to the deployment of automated accounting entries solutions to secure and streamline financial flows.
- Document processes, maintain a clear mapping of system configurations, and ensure an up-to-date view of the Finance IS operations.
- Change Management & Coordination with Outsourcing:
- Serve as the interface between the Finance team, external accounting service providers, and internal teams.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables and the consistency of data transmitted and received.
- Monitor improvement projects related to outsourcing: workflow optimization, secure data exchanges, and continuous quality enhancement.
- Train, support, and engage stakeholders on new tools and processes.
- Financial Controls & Continuity:
- Contribute to monthly and annual closings by reviewing, controlling, and validating entries produced by external providers.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual audit (documentation support, explanations, coordination).
Requirements
- Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting or in a Finance/IS role.
- Degree in accounting (e.g., DCG or equivalent).
- Strong Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP is a plus.
- Strong interest in financial tools, deployment projects, and process improvements.
- Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment.
- Fluent in french
- Rigorous, autonomous, service-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
