About the role

  • Field Marketing Specialist part of Japan Field Marketing team at Stripe. Supporting B2B marketing initiatives across Startups, Commercial, and Enterprise customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • You'll be part of the Japan Field Marketing team, supporting cross-segment field marketing programs that span Startups, Commercial, and Enterprise customer segments.
  • As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in program management, marketing operations support, and KPI tracking to ensure our field marketing initiatives run smoothly and deliver measurable results.
  • Working closely with sales teams, demand generation, and regional marketing peers, you will help drive high-quality leads, sales pipeline, and ultimately revenue growth across all segments in Japan.
  • Coordinate and execute field marketing programs across all customer segments (Startups, Commercial, Enterprise), ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and consistent quality.
  • Support day-to-day marketing operations including campaign setup, lead management, list building, and CRM/marketing automation hygiene in partnership with the broader marketing operations team.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track key field marketing metrics (leads, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, event ROI, etc.), and provide regular performance reports to stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person field events, third-party tradeshows, conferences, and meetups tailored to different customer segments.
  • Assist in executing multi-touch demand generation campaigns, including digital marketing, email marketing, and sales prospecting programs.
  • Help coordinate customer marketing activities such as case study production, customer testimonials, and speaking engagement logistics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program workflows, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy, contributing to scalable best practices across the APAC region.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in B2B field marketing, marketing operations, or marketing program management.
  • Hands-on experience with program coordination and project management — ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) for campaign tracking and lead management.
  • Experience building or maintaining dashboards and reports (e.g., Salesforce Reports, Tableau, Google Sheets/Excel) to track marketing KPIs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level).
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, demand generation, and regional marketing teams.
  • Experience supporting marketing programs across multiple customer segments (startups, SMB/commercial, enterprise).
  • Experience with event management — logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) concepts and tools.
  • Experience working with agency or contractor resources to scale program execution.
  • Exposure to the technology, SaaS, fintech, payments, or e-commerce industries.
  • A startup mentality with a bias toward action and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Basic analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, concise summaries for stakeholders.
  • Interest in continuously learning and growing within the field of B2B marketing and marketing operations.
