About the role

  • Supplier Quality Engineer ensuring quality across supplier parts for market-leading transport solutions. Leading supplier investigations and continuous improvement initiatives within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier concern investigations.
  • Manage supplier meetings.
  • Validate supplier parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Qualify new suppliers and conduct audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
  • Support crisis management for in-service and in-factory quality incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support reliability investigations and prepare performance data for supplier reviews.
  • Lead RCCA and 8D activities to improve supplier process capability.

Requirements

  • Experience in QA auditing within an automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of ISO9001, IATF 16949, and supplier quality tools such as SPC, RCCA, PPAP, 8D, 5S, and FMEA.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Bonus if you have: HND/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Quality Engineering.
  • CQI certifications.
  • Experience with APQP and QlikSense reporting tools.
