About the role
- QA Engineer in a fintech company responsible for software testing and automation. Collaborating with global teams to deliver quality products and improve testing processes.
Responsibilities
- A strong knowledge of common testing techniques and test processes will be essential
- In-depth knowledge of software testing; functional test experience across system, system integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing
- Regression activities at the end of sprints and other milestones
- Experienced in defining and maintaining quality test scenarios and scripts using various design inputs
- Utilizing exploratory testing techniques to improve testing coverage
- Confident communicating and collaborating with client stakeholders and third parties
- In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP API and Webservices
- Manual Testing (nearly 60% of the work time)
- Experienced in manual and test automation
- Contribute to and improve automation across the team, in the following areas: UI automation API automation Test Automation (nearly 40% of the work time)
Requirements
- Has 2 or more years’ experience in software development as a software tester.
- Demonstrable experience in software testing / development, including an understanding of the different methods of testing
- Good level of experience in test design test techniques, test plan creation and test case management
- Experience in modern UI automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.IO)
- Experience with API testing and API testing frameworks
- Understanding of Agile development methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is desirable but not necessary
- Portfolios demonstrating automation development are welcome but not necessary
