About the role

Responsibilities
- You design, create and maintain automated tests and test scenarios for web front-ends and APIs
- Executing automated tests, identifying defects and communicating them to the development team are also part of your responsibilities
- You extend our test sets for regression and smoke testing
- Working with Jira, Xray and Katalon is part of your daily routine
- You integrate automated tests into build and deployment pipelines in GitLab
- You analyze specifications and coordinate automation needs with our business analysts and test management
- You round off your workday by closely collaborating with developers, testers and project managers (all genders)
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs (SOAP and REST)
- Strong knowledge of Java and Groovy
- Familiar with Continuous Integration and integrating tests into GitLab pipelines and Docker
- Experience with test-supporting tools such as Xray, Katalon and Gatling
- ISTQB certification "Certified Tester Foundation Level"
- Team and communication skills, analytical thinking, structured working style, self-initiative
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least B2)
- Knowledge of BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin completes your profile
