About the role

  • Social Media Manager for aleno, enhancing its visibility and community engagement in the DACH region. Create authentic content and build strong brand awareness in the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

  • You will own your channels end-to-end: from planning and content production to community management and performance tracking.
  • Creator at heart: you’re comfortable on camera, able to film others and turn raw footage into compelling content.
  • Responsible for aleno’s organic social media presence: primarily Meta and LinkedIn, and also YouTube & TikTok.
  • Plan, produce and publish high-quality content: short-form videos, photos, carousels, Stories and written posts in the aleno brand voice.
  • Ensure a consistent posting cadence and fully manage the content calendar.
  • Capture authentic stories from our customers, partners, the hospitality community, events and internal teams.
  • Regular travel across the DACH region to produce on-site video and photo content (restaurants, trade shows, partner events).
  • Daily community management: actively monitor and respond to comments, messages and engagement.
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers, Sales, Customer Success and Executive Management.
  • Monitor trends and proactively test new formats, creative ideas, hooks and video styles.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice, unified visual identity and clear messaging across all channels.
  • Track key KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, content performance) to drive continuous optimization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in SaaS, tech, hospitality or a fast-paced digital environment
  • Proven experience in content production—especially short-form video (shooting and editing)
  • Comfortable on camera and confident interacting with people at events or in restaurants
  • Proficient with tools like Canva, CapCut and AI tools for fast, high-quality content production
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong sense of brand voice, storytelling and authenticity
  • Willingness to travel frequently (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) to create on-site content
  • Independent, creative, structured and self-driven working style
  • Confident using social media analytics tools and translating insights into action
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Big plus: you understand the hospitality world and know what motivates hosts to respond to authentic, human content.
