About the role
- Senior Identity & Active Directory Engineer leading assessments and upgrades in a hybrid IT services environment focused on Active Directory and identity management.
Responsibilities
- Lead assessment and analysis of domain controllers across the AD forest.
- Plan and guide upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning of domain controllers.
- Analyze legacy PKI usage and migrate certificates to Microsoft PKI services.
- Design future directory and identity service offerings based on technical analysis.
- Define engineered designs with full technical documentation.
- Perform domain controller consolidation while maintaining domain health.
- Clean up AD objects, GPOs, and replication topology.
- Troubleshoot AD, DNS, and PKI issues and remediate risks.
- Document configurations, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and integrating hybrid LDAP environments with 40,000+ users.
- Strong background in AD infrastructure and logical design.
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
- Experience working with vendors in outsourced environments.
